THIS IS TO CERTIFY that the provision of the Merchant Shipping Acts and Board of Trade Rules made thereunder relating to wireless telegraphy and to the survey of passenger vessels have been complied with, and that this vessel is fit to ply as a foreign-going vessel with the number of passengers stated above.

This Certificate, unless previously cancelled or revoked, to

If the Ship is then out of the Colony, she must be surveyed and have a new certificate before she first begins to ply with

passengers after her next subsequent return to the Colony.

One of these duplicate certificates is to be put up in a conspicuous part of the ship where it will be visible to all

persons on board under a penalty not exceeding FIFTY DOLLARS.

If the number of passengers carried exceeds the number

stated on this certificate, the master or owner will be liable

to a penalty not exceeding TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS and to a further penalty not exceeding FIVE DOLLARS for every extra passenger.

In case of any accident occasioning loss of life or any material damage effecting the seaworthiness or efficiency of the vessel, either in the hull or in any part of the machinery, a report by letter signed by the owner or master, is to be forwarded to the HARBOUR MASTER within 24 hours after the happening of the accident or as soon thereafter as possible, under a penalty not exceeding FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS.
